Nasse Mustafa, a labor attaché based in Libya informed the good news that 7,000 plus job opportunities are waiting for higly skilled overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Algeria. The employment prospects were created by three multinational companies that had huge development projects in Algeria.
The skills and knowledge of OFWs especially in professions that entail field works and assignments make them the preferred workers of Algerian employers.

Job opportunities for OFWs whose skills and professions are related to construction abound in Qatar this 2009. According to the delegates from the Qatari government, more than 100,000 jobs are available for OFWs. Majority of job openings in Qatar (85%) are for technical and highly skilled workers in the construction sector.
